Circa evokes the earth, the wind, and the circle that is life. It was created for Battle Creek’s Sesquicentennial celebration in 1981 and once stood in the downtown area. It sits prominently in ‘Shepherd’s Meadow’, a wide open, natural bowl shape. At its rededication in the Arboretum, a time capsule was buried beneath it containing Battle Creek and Arboretum memorabilia. Created in 1981, Moved to Leila Arboretum in 1996. Medium: Cor-ten Steel
